The Book of Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. It is all about Him. It begins with Jesus and ends with Jesus. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. The main subject of the book is the second coming of Jesus Christ. It reveals the events that will take place before His coming, from the church age (the age of grace) to the Rapture of the Church. Then, with the church (the bride of Christ) secure in heaven, the events of the seven years of tribulation upon the earth begin to unfold. The seven years of tribulation upon the earth is the wrath of God poured out upon the ungodly. Immediately following the tribulation period, according to the Revelation, Jesus Christ physically returns with His saints to judge the inhabitants of the earth and set up His 1,000-year reign. Following His millennial reign, Jesus will judge the ungodly at the Great White Throne Judgment. All those not found in the written Book of Life, along with Satan, will be cast into an eternal lake of fire. Then, for all followers of Jesus Christ, eternity follows in His presence with no more tears, no more pain, no more suffering, no more temptation or sin. We will continue in His love forever. The focus of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is the events that take place before His coming, during His coming, and after His coming. Revelation consists of a series of visions that reveal the ultimate victory of Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of God's plan for the world.
The main message is to "come" to Jesus now and be saved from the penalty of sin, which is death (eternal separation from God in a place of suffering and eternal torment) through the grace of God by faith in Jesus Christ.
Everyone will meet Jesus Christ, either as Savior King, or Judge. God does not desire for anyone to suffer His wrath but to have everlasting life through His Son, Jesus Christ. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6)."
Place your faith in Jesus now. Simply ask Him to forgive you of your sins and welcome you into His family. He is faithful and just and will cleanse you of all unrighteousness (I John 1:9).
